FAQs
Will True Heat Armor help stop hot tire marks?
True Heat Armor creates a protective barrier between your tires and the floor surface where heat, pressure, dirt, and direct tire contact occur. Designed for epoxy, polyaspartic, painted, sealed, and bare concrete floors.
Do they work on bare concrete?
Yes. True Heat Armor can be used on bare concrete, coated garage floors, painted surfaces, and sealed concrete. They help keep tire areas cleaner while adding an extra layer of surface protection where your vehicle sits.
Will they slide around?
No. Each pad features a textured anti-slip backing designed to help keep the pads in place under normal vehicle use and garage conditions.
Can I drive over them?
Yes. True Heat Armor pads are designed to be driven onto and parked on during normal daily vehicle use.
What size are the pads?
Each True Heat Armor pad measures approximately 12" x 16" and is designed to fit under the tire contact area of most passenger vehicles.
Are they made in the USA?
True Heat Armor pads are manufactured overseas and distributed by Dave's Epoxy Flooring. Each set is designed for use on epoxy, polyaspartic, painted, sealed, and bare concrete garage floors.
How do I clean them?
Simply rinse with water or wipe clean using mild soap and water as needed. For heavier dirt or grime, use a non-abrasive cleaner and allow the pads to air dry before reuse.
Are these only for epoxy floors?
No. True Heat Armor is designed for use on epoxy, polyaspartic, painted, sealed, and bare concrete garage floors.
Do the pads have a strong smell?
Yes. True Heat Armor is a great addition for DIY epoxy and garage floor coating systems. The pads help create a protective barrier where tires generate the most heat and contact pressure — especially in areas where DIY coatings may be more vulnerable to hot tire pickup, peeling, staining, or wear over time.
How many pads come in a set?
Each set includes 4 True Heat Armor pads — one for each tire position.
Can I use them outside?
True Heat Armor is primarily designed for garage and indoor parking applications, but they may also be used in covered outdoor areas.
Will they work with trucks and SUVs?
Yes. The pads are suitable for most cars, SUVs, and light-duty trucks.
